The
uniqueness of KZN Oils as an independent company allow us
to be flexible to procure fuel from any oil company. The recent
fuel shortage is a fine example of this and can be supported
by the Ports Authority and HSA Management. KZN Oils also played
a major role in executing deliveries for sub-contractors of
SAPO.
KZN Oils’ participation in the petroleum
industry is in the commercial sector, where we play a key
role in the logistics, sales and marketing.
KZN Oils has plans for operational or accommodation
agreements with regards to exploration in the near future,
as this is part of the company’s vision. With regards
to a refinery, negotiations are underway with an overseas
company. Discussions are currently on importation of finished
products that will soon be a reality.
The company has made several enquiries on
storage and depot infrastructure. The latest acquisition has
been a warehouse in Brakpan,Gauteng. We do have invested interests
and good relationships with several large storage companies.
FFS Refiners has storage facilities in Durban, Cape Town and
Richards Bay. KZN Oils’ intention is to open several
depots in strategic locations around the country and is in
an advanced stage to conclude an acquisition in Newcastle.
